Where did the baseball season go?

Started this site to document my trips to Arizona for Spring Training? Not this year.

First post for Opening Day. Did catch the four games on MLB Network.

And then….

The day job got in the way and before you know it I missed the volunteer work at Nationals Park and the ASG!

This has not been the baseball season I envisioned after the December GM Meetings.

With that said, I am trying to pair down some side work and get back into baseball mode.

So like a great pitching coach, just work with me!

2018 Opening Day

Finally!

Baseball season is back.

From back-to-back memorable World Series, true fans are left in a hazy of blah till we see our favorite team and players back on the diamond.

It always seems like an eternity for a new season to start and this past off-season took it to a new level of slowness, this years Hot Stove turned bitter cold and moved as fast as a Red Sox vs Yankees game.

But here we are. Finally.

Hall of Fame 100 WAR Score Lineup

With all the buzz of today’s Hall of Fame announcement, Sports Padre takes a look at the very elite according to the sabermetrics community.

Looking at all of the current Hall of Fame members at Cooperstown that have a WAR score above 100 which tallied at 31 players and then we looked at their main position played during their historical baseball career.
